FASTENING OF THE FRONT-WHEEL

To begin with, the front-brake needs to be freed. In order to do that, the brake needs to be pushed together and the cable must be freed. The brake must be pushed, not the brake lever , where the braking takes place.

The quick release is for fastening the front-wheel, which must be put through the hole in the shaft and fit a nutt of the other side of the quick release.

After that, the front-brake should be fastened.

Always control the fastening of the front-wheel, if you start riding.

ADJUSTING OF THE BRAKES

The brakes should be adjusted if needed, so that the braking would be even and wheel in the middle of the brake pads.
The screws of regulation are situated next to the fastening bolt and are under the angle of 90 degrees with a frame.
If the brake pad has to be closer to the wheel, the screw of regulation needs to be turned clockwise. If the brake pad has to get further from the wheel, the screw of regulation needs to be turned counterclockwise.

All of this explains, how the brake pads are regulated to the centre of the wheel.

FASTENING OF THE PEDALS

It is very important to pay attention to the pedals. The right pedal (marked as R) must be fastened to the right crank and the left pedal (marked as L) to the left crank. The marker is situated on the treath-side of the pedal.
The left pedal is fastened to the crank with a left-hand treath, which means that it must be turned counterclockwise for fastening.
The right pedal fastens to the crank with a right-hand treath, whick means that it must be turned clockwise for fastening.

Thinner keys have to be used with some bikes, because of the gap between the pedal and the crank.
